It's a pretty tough chunk that Torsten Krug chose for his Chemnitz directorial debut (...) - but the premiere audience on Saturday (...) didn't hold back their applause. (...)
All in all, a successful Brecht evening, not least because of Hanns Eisler's songs, which Muriel Wenger was allowed to breathe as a beautiful unknown. Disdainful, cynical, but never hopeless.
