Fast sex and fast communication

Abbreviations, phrases, SMS messages and one-word sentences: the communication of the students Jule, Lilli, Sven and Darius is as fast-paced as their nightlife and as random as their quick sex.
The girls wonder about the plural of "penis", the boys wonder if they look good too? In this party-time series, fears and insecurities are chattered away in a relaxed and fluffy manner. Only Anna and Philip are different: they have been a couple for six years, Philip is constantly studying for medical studies and never shows up. Everyone secretly admires the apparently stuffy couple.
Laura de Weck's play "Favorite People" would be as irrelevant as the language level of her protagonists if they weren't a bit over the top. So her hardly noticeable hesitation is more eloquent than the staccato SMS German that caused the biggest laughs in the stands at the premiere of the tragic comedy. The fast, dense staging by Torsten Krug looks very modern, especially due to the videos by Christian Schrills on a transparent screen. Big city scenes are brought onto the stage, but also many interior views.
